Vaporizers
To ease a cold or breathing difficulties, and to disperse antibacterial and antiviral oils during illness, several drops of essential oil should be added to the vaporizer through the appropriate opening:

Dripping essential oil onto a tissue or cloth.
To calm and open breathing passages, apply 2 drops of essential oil onto a tissue or cloth and inhale as required.

Oil Burners
To disperse a pleasant fragrance and create a tranquil and refreshing ambiance throughout the house, add 3 - 4 drops of essential oil to oil burners around the house or to a potpourri that has lost its fragrance.

Penetration of active ingredients via the skin

Apply to skin and massage for a healthy, calming, and enjoyable treatment:
One of the currently accepted modes for working with essential oils is by way of general massage or local application of essential oils. In any event, the essential oils must be mixed with base oils.

Warning:
Do not massage persons after surgery and persons suffering from heart disease or high fever.

In the Bath - To enhance health, pleasure and tranquillity:
Fill the bathtub one-quarter full. Add a generous amount of base bubble bath and continue to fill bath to desired level. Add several drops of your choice of essential oil, bathe and enjoy.
Lie in the bath for 20 minutes with your eyes closed, and enjoy the pleasant fragrance of the oil and the touch of the water. After your bath, wrap yourself in a bathrobe or towel but do not pat dry, so that the essential oils may be absorbed by your body.

Warning -
Persons with high blood pressure, cardiac problems or after surgery should not bathe in essential oils.
Regarding small children, make sure that essential oils do not come in contact with their eyes.

Compresses:
Dilute essential oils in water or an herbal brew and place a compress (a cold compress to treat fever or inflammation and a hot compress for the treatment of chronic problems) on the affected area to treat inflammation, swellings, pain, stings, fever or for a calming effect.
Essential oils should be added to ___ liters of hot or cold water, soak a cotton cloth or cotton wool in the solution and place it on the affected area for 10 - 15 minutes. Repeat several times.

Warning: Do not place compresses made with essential oils on the eyes.
Direct Application
Only lavender oil and Australian tea tree oil may be used to disinfect and treat cuts, wounds, scratches, stings, burns and herpes.
Gargling
Adults should add 2-3 drops of essential oil to a little honey in a glass of warm water, and gargle several times daily.
Cosmetic Supplement For skin care, cosmetic treatments and body creams, adults should add 3-4 drops of essential oil to 1 tbs. base cream base, such as aqua cream or shea butter.
Vaginal Douche
Adults should add to a rubber bulb syringe of water 1 tsp. apple vinegar and 3-4 drops aromatic oil and rinse.

Ingestion and the Digestive System

Orally - Adults should add 1 drop of essential oil to a little honey in a glass of warm water and drink, under the guidance of a naturopath, aromatherapist or physician.

Warnings and General Comments

1. Consult with the Customer Guidance Department prior to the internal use of essential oils.
2. Dilute essential oils prior to their application to the skin in accordance with directions. Only lavender oil and Australian tea tree oil may used undiluted.
3. Pregnant women and persons with chronic health problems require individual and specific directions.
4. After applying citrus oils to skin, do not expose the skin to the sun for 12 hours.
5. Keep out of the reach of children.
6. Keep away from fire.
7. Do not let essential oils come into contact with the eyes.
8. Sensitive persons should perform a sensitivity test first.
9. For persons with high blood pressure, specific treatment instructions must be obtained for the use of essential oils in the bath or for massage.
10. Oils that reduce blood pressure: azovit(???), melissa, ylang ylang, netted sage(???), lavender, lemon. Please consult the Customer Guidance Department prior to use.
11. Oils that raise blood pressure: rosemary, cinnamon, sage, camphor, red thyme, angelica. Please consult the Customer Guidance Department prior to use.
12. While taking homeopathic remedies, please consult the therapist prior to using essential oils.
13. Oils for Children: neroli, naoli(???), lavender, myrtle, frankincense, orange, tangerine, chamomile, lemon eucalyptus, and white thyme.
